Pharmacology
Course Description
Pharmacology is the study of all aspects of the properties and effects of drugs, including the principles of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacogenomics. This course will discuss the physiology of disease states, and the role of pharmaceutical intervention. Students in this course will gain a deeper understanding of drug function at the cellular and molecular level, and apply these concepts to the treatment of disease. Cross-listed with CDS 4050. Credit cannot be received for both CDS 5050 and CDS 4050. Prerequisite(s): BIO 2600 or BIO 3620
