Medical Endocrinology
Course Description
This course will provide an overview of the endocrine system, its hormones, functions, and hormonal interactions with cancer. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the Clinical endocrinology with efforts made to discuss the interrelations, laboratory tests, effects, and mode of action of different hormones related to different endocrine disorders. Slash course with CDS 4700. Credit cannot be received for both CDS 5700 and CDS 4700. Prerequisite(s): BIO 2600 or BIO 3620 or any Anatomy/Physiology equivalent.
