Nonverbal Communication

Course Description

Advanced topics and readings in nonverbal communication. Students will read and critique nonverbal communication and theories on topics such as deception, immediacy, and expectancy violations across communication contexts, including romantic, workplace, and classroom. COM 5412 is cross listed with COM 4403. Student cannot receive credit for both courses. Formerly COM 525. Prerequisite: Appropriate background in interpersonal/relational communication.
