Course Description
Principles, practices, and tools used in planning and implementing IT projects involving hardware, software, and networks to create a product, service, or result. Using the framework of IT project life cycle, the course covers various aspects of project initiation, planning, scheduling, monitoring, and quality control. Selecting and procuring IT systems, project team management, cost and effort estimation, risk management, and mini-case studies leading to a complex class project. Cross-listed with CSI 4430.
