Course Title

Embedded Systems Design Using FPGAs

Course Description

The use of hardware description languages such as VHDL in the design of embedded systems containing both an FPGA and a microprocessor; high-level design tools to specify, simulate and synthesize designs to FPGAs, design examples. Previously CSE 670, CSE 576. Credit can be received for only one of CSE 670, CSE 576, CSI 5760, ECE 576, ECE 5730. Prerequisite: CSI 5008 or equivalent.
