Operating Systems II

Course Description

Study of state-of-the-art operating system topics including resource management, virtual machines, operating system reliability and scalability, mobile computing, power management, cloud computing, and peer-to-peer computing. Students are exposed to current research in operating systems. Formerly CSE 652. Prerequisite: CSI 5500 or equivalent.
