Research Methodology in Computer Science

The methodology seminar course provides students with the fundamental training for conducting high-level scholarly research used in the various fields of computer science. Topics include: evaluation of information resources, intellectual property, writing for journals and dissertations, working effectively with scientific literature, literature review, plagiarism, publication, bibliographic management, and library resources; students also complete the required Responsible Conduct of Research and Scholarship Training. (RCRS).
