Electromagnetic Engineering

Course Description

Electromagnetic theory with applications. Diffraction, radiation, propagation, guided waves, optical transmission and resonant cavities. Formerly EE 545 and ECE 545. Credit cannot be received for more than one of EE 545, ECE 545, ECE 5300. Prerequisites: Student must have a background in vector calculus and basic electromagnetic theory, and have at least one course from the core and theory group of courses.
