Modulation and Coding

Course Description

Phase shift keying (PSK), quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), continuous phase modulation (CPM), constant envelope modulation, power spectral density, bandwidth efficiency, block codes, convolutional codes and turbo codes. Previously EE 635, ECE 635. Credit cannot be received for more than one of EE 635, ECE 635, ECE 6214. Prerequisites: ECE 5210.
