Course Description
The course studies the role and impact of the public sector in a market economy. It examines government spending programs and taxes within the context of efficiency and equity. There is a strong emphasis on current policy issues. Generally offered winter semester of odd years. Formerly ECN 656. Prerequisite: ECN 5210 or its equivalent.
