Internship in District Level Leadership

Designed as a series of three interconnected courses (ED 8950, 8951, 8952) that stretch across the program, the internship experience is intended to help candidates demonstrate both program goals and state leadership standards by linking required course activities to authentic leadership practices. Under the guidance of a mentor team, candidates will have structured and sustained opportunities to increase their skill and competence as central office leaders with a commitment to all students' learning. During the internship, successful candidates will demonstrate evidence of increased skill and competence through the design and implementation of a significant district-level systems change project. Student must be admitted in program. Formerly ED 850.
