Healthy Lifestyle Choices

Course Description

This course takes a biopsychosocial approach to exercise and other healthy lifestyle choices. Focus is on the dimensions of wellness, factors influencing lifestyle choices, the theory and practice of behavior change, and health promotion concepts in clinical, community, worksite, and commercial settings.This course is cross listed with an undergraduate course (EXS 4500). Credit will not be awarded for more than one of EXS 460, EXS 4500, EXS 560, EXS 5500. Offered all semesters. Formerly EXS 560. Prerequisites: PSY 1000 and (EXS 2400 or EXS 3010 or HS 2000).
