Exercise Electrocardiography

Course Description

Explores theoretical and applied concepts of electrocardiography. Students learn basic principles of obtaining and understanding resting and exercise electrocardiograms, effects on the normal electrocrdiogram and factors contributing to abnormal electrocardiography. Students experience exercise test applications of the electrocardiogram and learn to recognize life-threatening arrythmias. Offered summer semester. Formerly EXS 625, EXS 526. This course is cross listed with an undergraduate course. Credit can be awarded for only one of EXS 625, EXS 526, EXS 5640 or EXS 4640.Prerequisite: EXS 3010 or have permission of instructor.
