Physical Activity Epidemiology

Course Description

Explores the evolution of epidemiology and its impact on physical activity choices and guidelines. Topics will include the role of physical activity in the primary, secondary and tertiary prevention of chronic disease, mental health problems, and disability from an epidemiologic perspective. Offered summer semester. Formerly EXS 516. This course is cross listed with an undergraduate course. Credit will be awarded for only one of EXS 516, EXS 4810, or EXS 5810.
