Course Description
Introduction to the institutions, instruments, theories and analytical tools of financial management. Emphasis is placed on return versus risk valuation tradeoff. Topics include capital budgeting, cost of capital, capital structure, dividend policy, cash management, accounts receivable, short-term debt, financial statement analysis, international financial management and financial forecasting. Formerly FIN 533. Prerequisite: ACC 5110 and completion of a course in financial accounting.
