Advanced Calculus I

The topology of the real number line and of n-dimensional Euclidean space, continuity and uniform continuity, derivatives, the Riemann integral, sequences and series, uniform convergence. Offered every fall. MTH 5052 is cross-listed with an undergraduate course, MTH 4552. Student cannot receive credit for both courses.Prerequisite(s): Required background includes courses in multivariable calculus and linear algebra.
