Law and Public Policy

Course Description

The impact of ''the rule of law'' concept on administrative policy, practice and decision making. Examines the effects of existing procedural requirements on the exercise of administrative discretion, the role of the courts and the likely consequences of proposed ''reforms.'' Student must have graduate standing, or junior/senior status with at least three courses in political science, or permission of M.P.A director. Formerly PA 541.
