Operations Analytics

This course focuses on improving existing operations within an organization through computer simulation modeling of business processes using a variety of software tools and techniques including discrete event, Monte-Carlo, and systems dynamics. Topics include modeling, input and output analysis and managing simulation projects. Students will become familiar with both the methodology and application of computer simulation modeling within the context of managerial decision making under uncertainty and business process design. Prerequisite: QMM 5100
