Course Description
This course will examine several issues on effective management of today's supply chains. They include planning and design for supply chains, mass customization and postponement, distribution networks, management of supplier relationships, benefits/challenges of global sourcing, management of supply chain risks, integration and evaluation of supply chains. Formerly POM 642. Prerequisite: POM 5210 or have completed a course in operations management.
