Operations Planning and Control
Course Description
Studies the economic conversion of inputs into goods and services for both manufacturing and service organizations. Managerial and technical aspects of planning and controlling resources within a transformation system are examined including demand management, lean manufacturing, master production scheduling, materials requirements planning, capacity planning and inventory control. Formerly POM 643. Prerequisite: POM 5210 or have taken a course in operations management.
