Doctoral Seminar in Literacy, Culture, and Language

Course Description

Explore advanced topics in literacy, culture, and language. Important analytical frameworks include critical theory, sociocultural theory, critical race theory, and critical pedagogy. Also examines social equity teaching and culturally sustaining pedagogy in practice. Prerequisite (s): Student must be admitted to Ph.D. program or have permission of instructor.
