Industrial and Environmental Toxicology
Course Description
Introduction to the basic concepts and techniques of toxicology, with special attention given to the industrial environment. Evaluation of the toxic effects of substances and toxic responses to various substances.  Principles of toxicology applied to biological systems: exposure, bio-transformations and mechanisms of toxicity, dose-response relationships and factors influencing toxicity. Cross-listed with EHS 4460. Credit will not be granted for both EHS 4460 and EHS 5460. Prerequisite(s): EHS 3380 (C+) and CHM 2010 or CHM 2340
