Intermediate Fluid Mechanics

Course Description

Continued study of the fundamentals of fluid mechanics and their applications; linear and angular momentum principles; differential analysis of fluid motion; dimensional analysis and similitude; fluid machinery; laminar and turbulent boundary layer theory, lift and drag; compressible flow. With laboratory. This course is cross listed with an undergraduate course. Credit cannot be received for both ME 5510 and ME 4510. Generally offered fall.
