Systems Analysis and Design

This course focuses on the systems development life cycle and prototyping methodologies emphasizing the current trends in analysis, design and implementation of information systems. Some topics covered include requirements elicitation, feasibility and analysis, structural and behavioral modeling using UML, translating analysis models into design specifications, input, output and interface design, implementation and testing. Course involves semester-long project. Prerequisites: MIS 5140 or its equivalent.Approved Slash Course. Credit can only be earned for MIS 5050 or MIS 4050.
