Advanced Therapeutic Exercise Interventions
Course Description
This course will build upon the fundamental concepts in PT 652. Detailed anatomy, joint and tissue biomechanics, and orthopedic pathology lectures will be provided. Clinical decision making regarding exercise prescription will be discussed. The focus will be on advanced therapeutic stabilization exercises, active and passive self-mobilization exercises, and load reduction exercises. Formerly PT 653.Prerequisites: PT 7522 and PT 7520.
