Course Description
This course explores the age-related changes from adulthood into old age in terms of physiology, psychology, and sociology. Focus is on the special needs of the elderly and on the physical therapy management of the geriatric client. A holistic view of the rehabilitative, cognitive/behavioral, and psychosocial needs of the elderly will be explored. Formerly PT 728.Prerequisites: PT 6519, PT 7532, PT 7340, and PT 7421.
